Özge Ertem

Özge Ertem is inspired by a quest to combine the field of History with that of theater, and to locate their common sources and methodologies. She is an historian by training and an instructor of History at Koç University’s College of Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as the former editor-in-chief of publications at their Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations. She is also a member of the BuluTiyatro company, where she applies her experience from various acting classes and workshops, performing in several plays and active in project development. Ertem is one of the editors of a forthcoming anthology of Turkish drama to be published by Laertes of Chapel Hill.
